General information on the University of Nyíregyháza

Nyíregyháza University is a public institution, located in the seventh largest city in Hungary, approximately two hours from the capital by public transport.

It has 14 auditoriums that can accommodate at least 100 people. They are complemented by specialized laboratories and workshops, a concert hall, various classrooms, science and engineering laboratories, research rooms and research laboratories. The central library offers a wide range of services with more than 250,000 documents. Computer labs are an essential setting for a 21st century learning environment. The campus is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

The institution also operates a virtual campus, where some 200 online courses and distance learning materials are available. In addition to the university buildings, students have access to sports facilities that are unique in the country. Outdoor sports facilities on campus include a curved athletics track, two handball courts, three tennis courts, a streetball court, an adventure park and a fitness park. Indoor sports facilities include a sports hall, athletics hall, swimming pool, gymnasium and fitness room.
